Where is Enterkine House?
Enterkine House is located in Ayrshire, which is a county in the southwest of Scotland. The closest largest town to the venue is Ayr, roughly a 20-minute drive away.
The closest airport to the venue is Glasgow Prestwick, around 30 minutes away, and the closest rail connection is Ayr. However, with the venue very rural, it's highly recommended to have a car to visit the venue to make access as easy as possible.

Enterkine House is a great wedding venue for many reasons. First, the venue sits on a beautiful 350-acre property with landscaped gardens and scenic countryside views that can provide a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. How many guests can it hold?
The Enterkine House can accommodate up to 130 wedding guests for your ceremony and reception. However, your exact capacity will depend on the venue you choose and the layout of your wedding.
The venue has a variety of indoor and outdoor areas, including a saloon, conservatory and rose garden, to accommodate different group sizes and tastes. They also offer weekday wedding packages that require fewer numbers than at the weekend.

The Grand Hall
Spacious rooms with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and elegant fireplaces can accommodate up to 130 guests for ceremonies and receptions, with room for an additional 70 evening guests.
Conservatory:
A bright and airy space with panoramic views of the grounds, it can accommodate up to 70 guests for ceremonies and receptions.
The Drawing Room:
Our cosy and intimate room with a fireplace and comfortable seating is perfect for small weddings and can accommodate up to 30 guests for your ceremony.
Accommodation at the Enterkine House Wedding Venue.
Enterkine House offers on-site accommodation for up to 50 guests in various rooms and suites. There are 14 rooms, including four double rooms, four twin rooms, and six suites. Each room is individually designed and furnished to provide a comfortable and luxurious stay. Rooms are located both in the main building and the adjacent coach house, which has been converted into additional accommodation.
There is also the recent addition of the lovely wooden lodges and byre, which provide accommodation just a few minutes walk from the venue.
Best timing for your wedding.
The Enterkine House is the perfect venue for weddings in any season. If you like sunny weather and outdoor parties, you might like the summer months (June to August). But spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are also good choices if you're looking for cheaper options and want a change of scenery with flowers and fall foliage. Winter weddings (December to February) are also very cosy and romantic, with snowy landscapes and festive decorations.

The grounds of the Hotel are beautiful. The Hotel sits right in the heart of the Ayrshire countryside, with it comes epic countryside views. The venue also has lots of great spaces inside the venue that makes for the perfect photo backdrop.
